To get a Texas birth certificate, you can contact the Texas Department of State Health Services, Vital Statistics Unit.

Steps to obtain a Texas birth certificate:

1. Complete the Application for a Birth Certificate form.
2. Provide valid photo identification.
3. Pay the required fee ( for the first copy, for each additional copy).
